ORGANIZATIONS

Introduction: Think of the organization as a major subset of your project group. Buildings related to this organization are then grouped under that subhead. These organization subsets are typically helpful on larger, more complex projects. Examples from our project partners:
  • A large school district is divided into neighborhoods (the organizations), and schools are associated with those neighborhoods.
  • A religious group is divided into synods (the organizations) across the country, and the churches are grouped within their synod.
  • A hospital group is divided into several major hospitals (the organizations), and the related clinics are grouped with their lead hospital.
  • A city is divided into several departments (the organizations), and the related police stations or fire stations or libraries are grouped under their departments.
Use a structure that makes sense for your project participants.
