Introduction: A meter is the term we use for a specific account for a source of energy. It typically represents an account for which you are billed by a utility — an electric account, natural gas account, steam account, water account or similar servicing a building. If there are several electric meters servicing a building, for example, each one has to be included and kept up to date. Energy Stewards will total the utility data from the electric and display it on a building graph on a calendar month basis, making it easy for users to understand. Like ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager, Energy Stewards will only display data for the months where there is complete monthly data from all electric and natural gas sources.
